Who Should Attend

Anyone interested in including  Diversity and Inclusion in your research

Mindy Eng is the Director of Culture & Growth at Key Lime Interactive. She specializes in using inclusive design thinking to identify and operationalize cultural, professional, and business growth opportunities across an organization. She has been a proponent of the need to expand and challenge the industry’s narrow definitions of inclusion to help brands adopt broader outlooks on inclusive engagement inside workplaces, products, and communities. While consulting at Google / Jigsaw, she designed user studies and user research programs to better connect their teams and products with the needs of people at risk, and their values, lifestyles, and unique circumstances. She’s also worked with product teams across several industries, including aviation, beauty, food, retail, finance, healthcare, and designs for children and elderly. Through her international and regional work, she has engaged deeply with a diverse array of peoples, and it has built the foundation on which she grounds her work.

Eugenio Santiago is the SVP of User Research at Key Lime Interactive with over 16 years of experience helping the world’s most admired brands optimize their digital and product experiences. Eugenio has been both on the front lines of data collection mastering the tasks associated with executing successful user research projects and now leads an industry leading team of talented and skilled researchers proficient in many methodologies including qualitative, quantitative and mixed method approaches. As Key Lime Interactive has grown, Eugenio has managed and conducted over a dozen international research projects in seven countries including Australia, Singapore, Brazil, Finland, Poland, Mexico, and Hong Kong.  He has three children that keep him busy when he’s not traveling the world to create better products/experiences.

Eugenio is credited with creating the methodology that is used to conduct KLI’s industry-specific competitive indices which have grown from a single report back in 2012 to a thriving division of KLI’s business which releases over 10 reports spanning 5 different industries annually. Additionally, Eugene contributed heavily to the visible maturation to a more user-centered design approach for one of the world’s largest banking brands. With KLI as a strategic partner, this company’s UX team has grown from one individual conducting mostly validation style research to a thriving team responsible for the advocating and integration of the user’s needs into the product development cycle.
