Evaluating the Mobile User Experience: No Change Required?

The impact of tools on the various stages of the design and development process.

Schedule

This year, World Usability Day is November 8th and we are pulling out the stops to bring you another successful event at the local level. This year, the CT UXPA (formerly CT UPA) in conjunction with Manchester Community College will host an exhibition-style event around this year’s theme: The Usability of Financial Systems. Our topic will showcase the latest tools and techniques that assist the UX professional in gathering and evaluating data while applying it to the evaluation and design of mobile financial transactions like the mobile wallet. Special thanks to iTech Solutions who will be providing light refreshments.

Come join us to learn about the latest tools available in the user-centered design process for planning, sorting, prototyping, usability testing and using analytics in presenting data. The evening will entail some lively presentations followed by a series of informal demos, including Q&A, where you will have the opportunity to get in the driver’s seat and try out a tool or two. Find out how other members benefited from the tools they use. You will also have the opportunity to network and gather promotional materials from the vendors, including the chance to win a multitude of cool raffle prizes.

Please join us on November 8th and contribute to “Making Life Easy” and user friendly. Learn from your fellow UXers and add something new to your UX toolbox!

This is a FREE event. All UX enthusiasts welcomed!
