Ethics, Inclusion and Transparency in Design
We celebrate 17 years of Tangível and World Usability Day in the same week, in partnership with the UX
community in Porto, in an online and in-person event, from the city of Porto. And we’ll have some first hand news for you!
During the afternoon, we’ll have the presence of Bruno Giesteira, professor at the Department of Design
of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto (FBAUP), and researcher at INESC TEC, who will talk
about design centered on the elderly and the “eventually non-inclusive form in which the subject has
been viewed, mainly in the area of health.”
We’ll also have the participation of our CEO, André Carvalho and José Campos, Sandra Mouta (Head of
Training at Tangível), Joana Mesquita (UX Area Coordinator at SONAE MC) and Ana Luísa Carvalhal
(UI/UX Designer at Critical Software).
