We’re back to celebrate another World Usability Day at Consumer Reports!

Beautiful design. Clever marketing. None of this matters if a product or service isn’t easy to use. And when something is easy to use, life is easier. That’s what World Usability Day is about. At Consumer Reports, we know that usability is a critical ingredient to consumer experience. We buy, test and evaluate products the same way consumers do – whether they’re buying a new car, upgrading a smartphone, opening a new credit card or remodeling their home. For 80 years, we have empowered consumers with the knowledge they need to make informed choices, with an eye on a better, more user-friendly world.

To celebrate, we will highlight testing procedures that demonstrate ease-of-use and convenience features in a variety of products from microwaves to voice-controlled speakers to magazines.
