Dr. Kaveh Bazargan is an Assistant Professor in HCI & Media Studies at Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU), where he teaches graduate courses on various topics related to information society, communication studies, human-computer interaction, and ethics. He is also an expert member of the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) Technical Committee 13 on Human-Computer Interaction and a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Special Interest Group on Computer-Human Interaction (SIGCHI).
With over 10 years of experience in user research and data visualization, Dr. Bazargan has conducted and led numerous projects for public and private organizations, such as the Urban Development and Revitalization Corporation, the Information Technology Organization of Iran, and the Tehran Municipality ICT Organization. He has also been a visiting researcher and lecturer at prestigious institutions, such as Nanjing University, University of Geneva, and University College London. He has published multiple papers and articles in peer-reviewed journals and conferences, and has been a keynote speaker and program board member at several international events on HCI and UX. His mission is to empower local and global HCI communities to create better shared sociotechnical futures.
