World Usability Day has finally come to LA and usability problems are running rampant all over the city! This is no time to nap or sit back and think. As usability professionals we envision a world free of usability problems, and we constantly strive to make the world a more usable place. On World Usability Day, let’s take things up a notch, shall we? About World Usability Day An international event established in 2005 by the Usability Professionals’ Association to ensure that the services and products important to life are easier to access and simpler to use.

World Usability Day “Design Matters” Open House: 2010

UEVision will host their third annual “Design Matters” Open House in celebration of World Usability Day. The event will be held at UEVision’s offices from 6-8 pm in the penthouse suite of the old Hamm's Building, an office building at 1550 Bryant Street in San Francisco's Portrero Hill neighborhood.

Participants will bring examples of common items they believe are either well designed or poorly designed, and UEVision will show everyone how making minor changes to the poorly designed items can translate into products that are both sustainable and significantly easier to use.
