Second open World Usability Day will be held on November 20th in Minsk, Belarus http://wud.usability.by/. The event will highlight the topics of interface prototyping, usability and user-centered design methodology. We expect 300+ participants, most of them are designers, IAs, project managers, programmers and students.

We are putting together a broad program related to many sides of Usability and UX: We'll not only have talks from researchers but also from local practicioners as well a a report from the Open Source community about how Usability and UX work in their settings. Furthermore, there will be an extended Demo and Hands-on session with projects, tools as well as machines, mainly from our Fab Lab - so there will be plenty of opportunity to play with all sorts of interesting things from leap motions to google glass up to 3d-printers and lasercutters.
World Usability Day is observed Nov. 14 with events around the globe. The University of Missouri-Rolla is helping to sponsor a World Usability Day event from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, at the St. Louis Science Center.
Participants can test their skills at setting various alarm clocks, provide usability feedback about Web sites and experience other hands-on displays.
On Saturday November 10th, 2007, usability volunteers will guide Saint Louis Science Center guests through various hands-on activities that illustrate the issues and science of usability in healthcare. In addition, brief presentations will be given throughout the day providing insight and real-world examples of usability in healthcare. Among the exhibits will be:
