World Usability Day Delhi & NCR Region

Keeping with the essence of World Usability Day, MakeMyTrip in collaboration with IIT Delhi brings you UxNow, a conference focused on “User Engagement” with respect to online products and services.

This one-day conference aims to bring together people from diverse areas, which provides a multidisciplinary platform for designers, entrepreneurs, academicians, developers to discuss the challenges and potential solutions for effective interaction with and through web and mobile devices, applications, and services.

World Usability Day Dresden

The Dresden University of Technology celebrates the World Usability Day on Nov. 13th 2014 with a full-day event, including numerous lectures, presentations and field trips.

Things of everyday life surround us at every step. How can we intuitively interact with them? Following the slogan "Just do it !" visitors can learn about new approaches for user experience and usability design, try out protypes and applications, gather inspirations and socialize.

WUD'2014 Belarus

WUD’2014 in Minsk, Belarus (wud.usability.by).

This year the conference will be held on the 15th of November. Our speakers are experienced specialists and experts from Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus. About 250 visitors are expected to come, among them there will be project and product managers, graphic designers, UX designers and specialists, art-directors, software engineers as well as students.

World Usability Day at the University of Minnesota

You are invited to World Usability Day on November 13, 2014, in the St. Paul Student Center Theater (St. Paul Campus, Twin Cities). This year the University of Minnesota’s IT@UMN User Experience Team, Libraries, and CLA Department of Writing Studies have partnered with The Nerdery, Macalester College, Metropolitan State University, and Thomson Reuters to host a day of programming around the theme of “Engagement”. Please join us for one or more of the events.

World Usability Day at APIIT - Sri Lanka

The Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology will be participating in this world wide event by hosting a full day series of industry talks and workshops. The industry talks will be targeted towards providing insight into the mechanisms adopted by industry to enrich user experience and user engagement. In addition a series of workshops will be designed to provide participants insight into user profiling and UI design. The Speakers presenting at this event will be from leading organizations in the software development industry such as: UX Colombo, 99X, Zone 24x7 and IFS.

GE Healthcare World Usability Day

The GE Healthcare Usability Center of Excellence (UCoE) team invites GE employees to the World Usability Day celebration.  The UCoE team will be hosting several global virtual info sessions hosted by internal HFE practitioners to demonstrate best practices, provide solid usability examples and usability processes applied.  Other events also include a Usability Clinic, Use it or Lose it contest and Usability Jeopardy.
