Telono is happy to invite you to this year’s World Usability Day event in Geneva!
World Usability Day was founded by the User Experience Professionals’ Association to ensure that the services and products important to life are easier to access and simpler to use.
This year’s theme is healthcare, as the importance of user-centred design in healthcare is truly life or death. Whether it’s new medical devices or technologies, patient forms or medical record sharing, emergency disaster planning or increasing the functionality of hospitals and everyday healthcare delivery, everyone is affected in some way by the intersection of usability in healthcare.
The event will take place on Thursday 14 November at 5.30pm at Swissôtel Métropole in Geneva.
- Rolf Wipfli, PhD (Geneva University Hospitals): “Usability in the Hospital”
- Virginia Lang, PhD (HirLan): “User Centered Participatory Design and Medical Devices: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly”
- Florian Egger, PhD (Telono): “Mapping the User Experience of Smart Blood Pressure Monitors: International Findings from the User Experience Alliance (UXa)¨
The presentations will be followed by our traditional networking apéro, sponsored by Telono, a Geneva-based user experience research and design agency.
