This event will introduce undergraduate students and the general public to simple usability methods in a public and interactive setting. The hosts will set-up an area where participants can drop in, learn, and participate in a group card sort – with giant cards! Participants will get to suggest new cards, decide (as a group) where cards belong, and analyze and use the results of the iterative card sort of the University’s e-learning environment. By taking part in this fun group activity, participants will hopefully gain insight into how usability can impact and improve the design of systems that they use everyday.
No registration is required. Just show up and participate!
