The theme for 2016 is ‘Sustainable UX’ and we will be focusing on how UX can be a force for positive behaviour change. Have you used a mobile app to count your steps, map your runs or measure you carbon footprint? Can compelling experiences change ingrained habits for the better? Is user engagement the key to a greener future?
To show the benefits of a community-based approach to sustainability, we are planning a series of rapid service design workshops. Together, we can explore how a collaborative approach can produce lots of fresh ideas for increasing customer engagement and promoting behaviour change to benefit all users.
As if that didn’t have you rushing to secure your place at our free event, we’ll make sure there are plenty of nibbles and drinks throughout the afternoon! We will also be raising money for our designated charity Tearfund and we have some fantastic raffle prizes including an overnight stay at the recently refurbished George Hotel, a goody bag from White Stuff and more!
We do hope you can join us from 2pm on Thursday 10th November.
